Virginia Evelyn Geheb Virginia Evelyn Geheb, 66, of Huntsville died Saturday, July 5, 2008. She was born April 1, 1942, at Seagraves, Texas, to Thomas David and Lillian Stephenson Collins.

She was a laundry room attendant at Valley Children's Hospital in Fresno, Calif., before retiring to Arkansas.

She was a Protestant.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Alan Woods of Harrison and Rodney David Woods of Huntsville; a sister, Lillie Mae Holliman of Pipe Creek, Texas; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mallory M. Blankenship Mallory Marie Blankenship, infant daughter of Chris and Michelle Guenther Blankenship, returned to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 8, 2008.

She was born July 4, 2008, in Fayetteville. She shares her birthday with her big sister, Drew.

Survivors include her parents, Chris and Michelle Blankenship of Elkins; a sister, Drew Blankenship; two brothers, Davis Blankenship and Carrson Blankenship; paternal grandparents, Jim and Sandy Blankenship of Fayetteville; and her maternal grandparents, Anne Guenther of Victoria, Texas, and Buddy Guenther of San Antonio.

A celebration of Mallory's life was held Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fayetteville with Bishop Mark Wagstaff officiating. Ernie Ray Stroud Ernie Ray Stroud, 61, of Strickler died Tuesday, July 8, 2008.

He was born April 2, 1947, in Wichita, Kan., to Ray Orval and Rosa LieYoakum Stroud.

He was a former employee of the University of Arkansas. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Liberty and Eighty-Six Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marcella Chaffin Stroud; a son, Michael Ray Stroud Dunning of Springdale; two daughters, Shania Tash of Greenland and Christina Moody of Bella Vista; and six grandchildren.

Ruby Anna Tomlinson Ruby Anna Tomlinson, 82, of Winslow died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at her home.

She was born Jan. 26, 1926, in Oakland, Calif., the daughter of Herman and Frances Hovestadt.

She attended the school systems in Oakland and trained for bookkeeping. She was an adventurer and loved to travel. After marrying James Tomlinson she moved to Winslow to care for James'parents. She worked for Arkansas Western Gas until she retired.

She will be remembered by many as a volunteer, 4-H sponsor, school activities and Booster Club in Winslow. She was on the committee responsible for building the gym and actively participated in the fundraisers. After her retirement, she did volunteer work for Winslow Community Meals. She worked for several years in the Thrift Store that supported the program and participated in the fundraisers. For many years she did the bookkeeping for the Ozark Forkways Organization. She was an avid needleworker and made quilts for all of her family. She did beautiful knitting, crocheting and was an accomplished upholsterer and made beautiful clothing.

Ruby was preceded in death by her two sisters, Frances and Dorothy; two brothers, Walter and Bernie; and a son, Jay Tomlinson, who died last year.

She leaves her husband, James, after a marriage of 51 years; a daughter, Ann Malkie of Dallas; three grandchildren, Heather Malkie, Crystal Malkie and Jonathan Tomlinson; and a great-grandson, Spencer Tomlinson.

Inez H. Murdoc Inez H. Murdock, 93, of Fort Smith passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008, in Fort Smith.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She and her husband owned and operated Murdock Electronics for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Rex H. Murdock Sr., and eight brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Dutcher of Jackson, Tenn., and Martha Disney and her husband Herb of Elkins; a son, Rex Murdock Jr. and his wife Suzan of Irving, Texas; seven grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were by Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.

A graveside service was held at Saturday at Forest Park Cemetery.

Sarah B. (Teague ) Walker Sarah B. (Teague ) Walker, 83, of Fayetteville died Thursday, July 10, 2008, at Fayetteville City Hospital.

She was born May 21, 1925, in Greathouse Springs, the daughter of Earl and Syble Barron Wohlford. She served as Washington County tax collector for 14 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Taft Teague and Bryan Walker; and a brother, Ralph Wohlford.

She is survived by a daughter, Jeannie Armstrong and husband John of Fayetteville; a stepdaughter, Suzy Walker of Elm Springs; two stepsons, Bruce Walker and wife Jean of Springdale and Bryan Walker and Gayle Test of West Fork; four grandsons, Dean Parson and Jeremy Armstrong, both of Fayetteville, Barry Walker of Springdale and Charles Walker of Hot Springs; two granddaughters; eight great grandchildren; and a greatgreat-grandson, Khristian.

Arrangements were by Moore's Chapel. A funeral service was held. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Ivan Faulkner officiating. Burial was in Mount Comfort Cemetery. John Larson John Larson, 84, formerly of Elkins, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, in Edmund, Okla.

He was born Feb. 2, 1924, in Memphis, Tenn., to Wilber and Bessie Larson. John was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Services Corps as a railroad engineer. He participated in the Normandy invasion and its aftermath. John was an engineer on the train known as the "City of New Orleans "for many years and he retired from the Illinois Central Railroad. He took great pride in his career, his family, fraternity and his church. John was a Mason of the White Oak Lodge in Memphis for 50 years. John was a good Baptist all his life.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Larson; a brother, Buster; a sister, Christine; and a great grandchild, Shelby Jones.

He is survived by two sons, Frank Larson: children Beth and Phillip, and James Larson, wife Penny, children Andrea and Caitlin,. John had a daughter Lyn Klee: children Jackie Austin, spouse Mike Austin: children Dayle Applegate, David and Mackenzie Austin and grandkids, Marliegh and Gracie Applegate, Jeff Foster, wife Libby and children Abby and Clayton. John will be missed by Bob Jones, children Terry, Laura and Pat. Kathleen Westspouse Steve Ferguson and children Margaux and Isabella, are missing their Papa as are many, many friends.

Funeral services were at Beard's Chapel with internment at Fayetteville National Cemetery. The family requests that memorials take the form of contribution to Heifer International.

MSgt Fred L. Hesser MSgt Fred L. Hesser, 68, U. S. Air Force (Ret. ), of Winslow left his earthly home to join his Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 10, 2008.

He was born Oct. 25, 1939, in a log cabin south of Winslow to Parl Van and Lola Irene Evert Hesser.

He worked at Burn's Gables, drove a truck and spent 20 years in the Army / Air Force. After retiring, Fred bought the North End Service Station in Winslow and ran it for four years. He served on the Winslow City Council. He served as Sunday school director at Winslow First Baptist Church and then moved to Kansas. He worked again for the federal government. He drove a truck and attended Cloud County Community College and Fort Scott Community College.

He was a member of the Winslow Masonic Lodge No. 530 in good standing. Fred married Marjorie Beth McKanna on March 20, 1966.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Norman; and a sister, Parlene Evans.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Beth Hesser; two daughters, Angela Kay Ussery and her husband, Scott, of Jackson, Mo., and Brenda Lee Hesser and her friend, Doug Dueing, of Bonhardt, Mo.; five grandchildren, Kelcie Lea and Brittany Kay Ussery, Phoebe Marie and Christy Jean Hesser and Keenan James Lowery, all of Missouri; and any nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were Tuesday at Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel. A service was held Tuesday at First Baptist Church at Winslow with Jere D. Mitchell officiating. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 200, Winslow, AR 72959.

Pauline Dotson Pauline Dotson, 75, of Huntsville died Friday, July 11, 2008, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

She was born Jan. 15, 1933, in Vendor to Velt and Emma Reddell Campbell. She was member of the United Pentecostal Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Dotson; four children, Billy Wayne Dotson and Charles Ray Dotson, both of Huntsville, Emma Lou Smith of Elm Springs and Ray Nelson Dotson of Springdale; two brothers, Calmus Campbell of Mount Judea and Robert Campbell of Vendor; two sisters, Charlene Bolin of Hasty and Louise Rocoe of Vendor; seven grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren.

Arrangements were by Westfield Chapel in Springdale. A funeral service was held Wednesday at the funeral home with the Revs. Larry Taylor, Russell Dotson, David Gilmer and John Smith officiating. Burial was in Elm Springs Cemetery. To sign the online guest book go to www. westfieldchapel. com.
