Homecoming festivities A Homecoming bonfire and pep rally is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at the High School Baseball field. Community is encouraged to attend.
Juniors and seniors will be tailgating at the high school Friday from 11: 30 a.m. until 3: 30 p.m. prior to the Friday night homecoming game against Huntsville at Blackhawk Stadium. There will be a dance after the ballgame at the High School.
Homecoming maids are Evelyn Torres, Veronica Henderson, Natalie Morgan, Brittany Morgan, Brittany Clary, Kayla Kaczorowski and Jessica Small. Garfield Fall Carnival GARFIELD - A Fall Carnival is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the school. There will be games for a quarter each of $ 7 for an all-night stamp. Games include a cake walk, balloon pop, face painting and fish pond, among others. There is a country store with items for sale. Baked goods are for sale and bingo is 50 cents a game. Food offered includes popcorn, chili cheese nachos, hot dogs, chili dogs, nachos, brown beans, Frito pies and caramel apples. There are raffles offered for $ 1 a chance.
