Brightwater United Methodist Church A Harvest Bazaar is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 15-17. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The menu includes vegetable beef soup, ham and beans, cornbread, a drink and dessert.
Homemade pies, cookies, bread, candy and other tasty items will be sold as well as small gifts, handmade tea towels, crafts, pumpkins and many other items.

Everyone is invited to turn in copies of their favorite recipes. Family potluck and fellowship with be at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26.

Free family movie night will be Friday, Oct. 31, at the Blackhawk Theatre. Free Will Baptist Church Revival services with Charlie Jamison from the Church in the Valley at Parthenon, will culminate with a service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the Pea Ridge Free Will Baptist Church.
Since the youth group has started practice for their Christmas program, snacks will be discontinued until the first of the year. The Christmas program will be presented Dec. 7. Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church The eighth annual Trunk or Treat will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 31 in the church parking lot. Car trunks are to be decorated with Halloween ghosts and goblins. There will be candy to give to children. New Life Fellowship A Fall Fest is set from 5: 30 p.m. to 8: 30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, at New Life Fellowship at 815 Weston St. Join us in a safe and friendly environment.
