WHEN IN ROME The South Arkansas Arts Center will display a photo exhibit," Foto Roma: An Introspective View of Travels in Rome, Italy,"from Saturday to Oct. 31. The exhibit features a journey told through the lens of award-winning photographer Lisa Burton-Tarver in black-and-white images. THE BEST AROUND The George A. Spiva Center for the Arts will present its 61st annual Membership Show from Nov. 8 to Dec. 21 in the center's main gallery. All Spiva members currently in good standing are allowed to submit one piece of artwork in any medium for the juried show. Award winners will receive cash prizes. There will be an opening reception from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Nov. 7. The center is located at 222 W. STRING SOUNDS The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra will continue its Stella Boyle Smith Masterworks series with "Violin Pyrotechnics!"on Oct. 18-19. The performances will feature a rendition of Niccolo Paganini's Violin Concerto No. 1 by renowned soloist Franco Mezzena. POP ART The Arkansas Arts Center will present "Andy Warhol: 15 Weeks of Fame"from Oct. 17 to Nov. 1. The three-part exhibit contains 63 silk-screen prints of the work that made Warhol a pop culture icon. In addition, drawings and objects created by Warhol, including a triple portrait of Marilyn Monroe, are included in the exhibit. Admission is $12/adults, $10/seniors and $8 children. HANK'S LEGACY Arkansas football fans hitting the road for the game at Auburn on Oct. 11 might want to stop by the Hank Williams Museum, located at 118 Commerce St. The museum features exhibits devoted to one of the most influential names in country music. Williams lived in the town from 1937 to 1953. Admission is $7/adults and $2/children ages 3-11. Children 2 and younger get in free.
