County plans free disposal in fall cleanup

The Washington County Fall Cleanup is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Washington County residents showing proof of residency can dispose of furniture and building materials at no charge during the cleanup by taking the items to the Waste Management Tontitown Landfill, 11979 Arbor Acres Road or the Boston Mountain Solid Waste District office at 11398 Bond Road in Prairie Grove.
All loads must be covered.
These items will be accepted: furniture, carpet, roofing materials, brick, vinyl siding, bathroom fixtures, drywall, insulation, concrete and wood.
County officials encourage residents to show up well before the 3 p.m. closing time to ensure they can dump their materials.
