FHS homecoming court announced

Fayetteville High School will hold its homecoming festivities next week, which culminate on Friday with a parade through downtown and the coronation before the home football game.
"Each class and club is building their floats for homecoming," FHS Student Council faculty sponsor Vance Arnold said.
The school announced its Homecoming Court on Friday.
According to FHS counselor Lesli Zeagler, members of the court are 3 rd Maid Johnna Watson, 2 nd Maid Lexy Keaton, 1 st Maid Clancy Jones, Maid of Honor Sarah Brady and Queen Alex Canfield.
The school is also having different dress-up days next week to commemorate the occasion. These include a Hippie Day and'08 Election Day, he said.
On Thursday, the annual honorees for the school's Hall of Honor will speak to the senior class in morning assemblies at the auditorium. This year's Hall of Honor inductees are J. Alan Adams, Larry Bittle and Oma Blackwell.
The Fayetteville Public Education Foundation will induct the three honorees during a ceremony Thursday at the Fayetteville Town Center. The event begins at 5: 30 p.m.
Friday's parade will begin around 3 p.m. and circle the downtown Square, where a pep rally will be held.
The football team will be playing Fort Smith Northside High School for its Homecoming game starting at 7 p.m. Friday.
The school will also have a homecoming dance for students on Saturday evening.
