Amber Snipes and Evan Stewart, both of Fayetteville, plan to marry at 6: 30 p.m. Sept. 20, 2008, at First United Methodist Church in Tulsa, Okla.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Jenny and Bruce Snipes of Tulsa, Okla. She is the granddaughter of Lorene and the late Eugene Snipes of Scranton and Billie and Louis Hild of San Bernadino, Calif.
She has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in social work from the University of Arkansas. She is a mental health professional at Ozark Guidance.
The prospective groom is the son of Libby and Mark Stewart of Norfork. He is the grandson of Nina and the late Donald Myatt of Yellow Springs, Ohio, and the late Ruth and Albert Stewart.
He has a bachelor's degree in business administration and is a sales representative for JT Sports.
