There is no charge for publishing an engagement, wedding or anniversary announcement in the Northwest Arkansas Times. Announcements are published on Sundays.

Announcements must be submitted by 5 p.m. Thursday a week before the desired Sunday of publication for the Northwest Arkansas Times. Engagement announcements will be published up to one week before the wedding.

Deadlines for the submission of wedding announcements are as follows:

The Northwest Arkansas Times will accept announcements up to three months after the wedding; announcements submitted later than three months may run without a dress, veil or bouquet description.

Photos

All photos submitted must be vertical. Black and white photos are preferable for publication. Color photos will be accepted but reproduction quality cannot be guaranteed. Only professional quality photos will be accepted. Soft-focus or self-developing photos will not be accepted. Photos from desktop printers and copy machines do not reproduce well. Photos of either the bride or the couple will be accepted.

The publication tries to protect submitted photos from damage; however, it is impossible to guarantee photos will be returned unharmed. The publications cannot accept responsibility for replacing photos in the event damage occurs.

A photo may be picked up after publication at the office where it was submitted. To have a photo returned, include a stamped, self-addressed envelope. Photos not picked up within a month of publication will be discarded.
