ENGAGEMENTS : McNew-Ashford

Tasha McNew and PJ Ashford, both of Springdale, plan to marry at 4 p.m. Sept. 20, 2008, at St. Catherine's at Bell Gable in Fayetteville.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Lori and Jeff Johnson of Springdale. She is the granddaughter of the late Dixie and Ray McNew.
The prospective groom is the son of Carol and Pepper Ashford of Nashville, Tenn. He is the grandson of the late Elizabeth and Milo Redden and the late Nann and Charles Ashford.
He graduated from Georgia Tech and is a financial advisor with Edward Jones.
