GAELIC FOOTBALL The Northwest Arkansas Rovers Gaelic football team seeks new players in preparation for the 2009 season. Gaelic football is a fast-paced sport from Ireland that vaguely resembles a cross between soccer, rugby and basketball. The Rovers compete in the North American County Board against clubs such as Little Rock, Kansas City, and St. Louis. Training is co-ed and suitable for a wide range of ages. Some games will be played co-ed as well. There is no cost to play and no travel requirements though participation with the travel team would be appreciated. WALDER SPEED CAMP Former Razorback and 10-time NCAA champion Erick Walder, along with Arkansas Sports Training, will host a speed camp for all ages Sept. 8-11 from 6: 30-8 p.m. at the University of Arkansas. Cost is $ 99. For more information, call 725-2544.
