Events and Activities

The city of Fayetteville will celebrate the grand opening of the West Side Wastewater Treatment Facility and the completion of Broyles Road with a ceremony and luncheon at 10 a.m. today. The ceremony is open to the public and will take place at the West Side Facility located at 15 S. Broyles Ave. in Fayetteville.

The Farmington Senior Center will have host Ken Harvey and the C & W Express Band, as well as a pie auction, 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Farmington Senior Center, 340 W. Main St., Farmington. Admission is $ 5. Proceeds will go toward paying off the new senior center van. Donations are welcome and appreciated.

The Nor th Arkansas Symphony will perform at Arvest Ballpark following Sunday's Northwest Arkansas Naturals game against the Tulsa Drillers. The game begins at 4 p.m. and the symphony performance will be followed by fireworks. Tickets for the Sunday event are $ 20 and can be purchased at the gate or by calling 927-4900. The ballpark is located at Watkins Avenue and South 56 th Street in Springdale.
