Sara Gay of Cave Springs and Sam Meyer of Lowell plan to marry at sunset Aug. 2, 2008, at Lowdermilk Park Beach, Naples, Fla.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Kathy and Mark Gay of Cave Springs. She is the granddaughter of Pattye and Marvin Gay of Benton and Jane and the late Bill Glover of Van Buren.
She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Arkansas Sate University in Jonesboro and is employed at Arkansas Mill Supply in Rogers.
The prospective groom is the son of Darcy and Tim Meyer of Tontitown. He is the grandson of Mary Lee and the late Ernie Meyer and Joan and Alfred Goede, all of Sumner, Iowa.
He has a degree in automotive technology from Universal Technical Institute in Houston and is employed at Springdale Water Utilities.
