NWA Mall reveals management team, retailer additions
Keith Hill recently assumed the role of operations manager at Northwest Arkansas Mall, returning to the property following a four-year stint with shopping mall Reit J. Herzog & Sons. Diane Dunlap also joins the management team in as marketing manager, among other duties.
Women's fashion retailer Forever 21 is now open in a 9, 328-square-foot space located in the J. C. Penney wing. Rack Room Shoes is now open in a 4, 992-squarefoot space also located in that wing of the mall.
C & C Market Research is currently under construction in a 1, 454-square-foot space located next to Zales. They are scheduled to open this fall. Several other stores recently completed interior renovations and upgrades including American Eagle, Champs Sports, Kay Jewelers and Warren's Shoes. Trade Secret, offering salon services and products, is currently doing business as Pure Beauty. Eateries Inc., doing business as Garcia's, will be opening this month.
White River receives certification
White River, a manufacturer of embellished hardwood moldings and architectural woodcarvings, announced its achievement of the Forest Stewardship Council's Chain of Custody Certification. For the past 18 months, White River has been researching the optimal plan for purchasing lumber from certified, wellmanaged forests for its local manufacture of hardwood moldings.
The Chain of Custody Certification is granted by Scientific Certification Systems, an independent third party, which is accredited by the stewardship council. This certification verifies that lumber from certified forests is identified, marked and recognized as it passes through a chain of custodians or handlers from the forest to the consumer.
White River was founded by Bruce and Joan Johnson in the mid- ' 70 s. Based in Fayetteville, White River offers more than 1, 500 decorative embellishments in hardwoods including moldings, corbels, on lays, cabinet parts, range hoods, fireplace mantels and a line of resin products for curved applications.
