Women's conference is Sept. 30

BENTONVILLE - Hosted by the Bentonville-Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce, the 10 th annual Northwest Arkansas Business Women's Conference will be Sept. 30.

Doors will open to the event, held at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers, at 7: 30 a.m. Registration and vendor booths will also open at that time. The welcome and breakfast will be at 8: 30 a.m.

Emory Austin, a favorite with conference attendees a few years ago, is scheduled to give the morning motivational address. Following the award-winning Austin, a 15-minute break is planned before Dr. Mary Bourland's talk,"Body Bashing: Thinking Healthy Not Skinny. "A short break will follow her talk.

From 11 a.m. until noon, concurrent sessions will occur. Sessions will include Allyson Lewis speaking on "How to Prioritize, Organize and Simplify Your Life"; Judith Tavano's address titled "Succession Planning 2. 0 "; and Kathryn Lowell's address,"Your Personal Image - A Reality Check ."

The featured speaker will be Linda Dillman, executive vice president of benefits and risk management with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Lunch and the presentation of the Athena Award is scheduled from noon to 1: 30 p.m.
