GENTRY ó The first game between nonconference foes Gentry and Lincoln was close and the Saturday night encore at Gentry was just the same. For the second time this season the Lady Wolves edged out the Lady Pioneers, this time by a 59-55 margin in a seesaw, emotional contest at Pioneer Arena. With Lincoln (11-2, 0-0 in 1-3 A Conference) ahead 56-55 with 24 seconds left, Tara Paczowski clinched the win by making three of four free throws down the stretch. The Lady Wolves overcame a four-point fourth quarter deficit. Hannah Perkins led Lincoln with 17 points, while Abby Smith scored 14 and Rashelle Goldman chipped in nine. Paczowski finished with six points and recovered from an early fourth quarter loose-ball collision that sent her spinning into the bleachers. - Wednesday, January 7, 2009
