Dance Divas hosting dance camp

DECATUR ó The Decatur High School Dance Divas are hosting a dance camp for younger girls to raise money for new uniforms.
The camp will from 3: 20 to 5: 20 p. m., Oct. 27 through Oct. 30 for children ages 3 through 12 with any level of experience.
Dance Divas team members will be coaching the campers with the help of Dazzleíem Dance instructor Cherrie Wear and sponsor Jacque Smith. They hope to raise enough money to buy new uniforms for the team.
The campers will be performing with the Divas during halftime at the Oct. 31 football game. The camp costs $ 40 and includes after-school snacks, a Bulldog tutu and free admission to the game.
Arrangements will be made for elementary school students to ride the bus to the high school during the week of the camp, and parents will be responsible for picking the students up at 5: 20 p. m. at the high school.
The deadline for entries is Oct. 23, and entry forms have been sent home from school with elementary and middle school girls. Entry forms and fees can be turned in at the elementary or middle school offices in an envelope marked: attention Mrs. J. Smith.
