There is no charge for publishing an engagement, wedding or anniversary announcement in the Benton County Daily Record. Announcements are published on Sundays.

Deadlines for the submission of engagement and anniversary announcements:

Engagement announcements may be published in The Benton County Daily Record up to two weeks before the wedding. Deadline for submission is noon Wednesday.

Deadlines for submission of wedding announcements

Announcements in The Benton County Daily Record must be submitted by the Wednesday prior to publication on Sunday. Announcements submitted later than two months may run without description of the dress, veil or bouquet.

Photographs

All photographs must be vertical. Black and white photos are preferable for publication, but not required. Color photos will be accepted but reproduction quality cannot be guaranteed. Soft-focus or self-developing photos, as well as photos from desktop printers and copy machines, may be rejected because of poor quality. Photos of either the bride or the couple will be accepted.

The publications try to protect submitted photos from damage; however, it is impossible to guarantee photos will be returned unharmed. The publications cannot accept responsibility for replacing photos in the event damage occurs.

A photo may be picked up after publication at the office where it was submitted. To have a photo returned, include a stamped, self-addressed envelope. Photos submitted to the Benton County Daily Record are kept on file for one year.
