Bella Vista Computer Club

The club’s next meeting will be at 7 p. m. Monday in the Community Room at the Highlands Crossing Center, 1801 Forest Hills Blvd. in Bella Vista.
The program, presented by Chuck Billman and Don Hood, will be a demonstration on how to use Skype to make free calls via the Internet.

Classes include the following: • Advanced Computing for XP: 10 a. m. to noon Oct. 20, 22, 27 and 29. • Internet: 1: 30 p. m. to 3: 30 p. m. Oct. 20 and 22. • Basic Computing for Vista: 10 a. m. to noon Nov. 3, 5, 10 and 12.
• Digital Photography: 1 p. m. to 3 p. m. Nov. 3, 5, 10 and 12.
• Getting Started With Computers (Vista ): 10 a. m. to noon Oct. 16.
• Getting Started With Computers (XP ): 10 a. m. to noon Nov. 17.
The fee is $ 6 for members and $ 25 for nonmembers.
Fees for eight-hour classes are $ 24 for members and $ 40 for nonmembers. Four-hour classes are $ 12 for members and $ 30 for nonmembers. Classes are held in the Computer Club’s Classroom at the Highlands Crossing Center, and there will also be free Open House Computer Help Clinics from 10 a. m. to 1 p. m. Wednesday and Nov. 1 in the Computer Club’s Classroom.
The next Genealogy Special Interest Group meeting will be in the Computer Club’s Classroom at 10 a. m. Saturday.
