Practice will start the week of Labor Day, with games starting either Sept. 11 or 13. Teams will play two games a week for six weeks.
Players from outside the Bentonville School District are welcome to play. The fee is $ 65.
The fall leagues are offered for players whose age on April 30, 2008, was from 7 to 16.
Plans currently call for players:
Ages 7 through 9 to play together
Ages 10 and 11 to play together
Ages 12 and 13 to play together
Ages 14 through 16 to play together.
These plans could change because each age group needs a minimum of three teams of 12 players each. If those numbers dont occur, shifts will be made.
BabeRuthandCalRipkenteamsfrom neighboring cities are welcome. Contact KurtRouhselangatkroosh 1 @ aol. comor Rob Chalfant at rkchalfant @ cox. net to discuss bringing those players into the fall league as a team.
