ROGERS — Best-selling author Nicholas Sparks will be featured at the Rogers Public Library Foundation’s fall “ Conversations With” series.

Sparks is the author of the No. 1 New York Times bestsellers “ The Choice, ” “ Dear John, ” “ At First Sight, ” “ True Believer, ” “ The Rescue, ” “ Nights in Rodanthe, ” “ The Notebook, ” “ Message in a Bottle, ” “ A Walk to Remember, ” “ A Bend in the Road, ” “ The Guardian, ” “ The Wedding, ” and his memoir “ Three Weeks with My Brother, ” written with his brother, Micah.

“ We are thrilled to be able to bring an author of this caliber to northwest Arkansas, ” said Jeremy Cox, president of the Foundation. “ I’m also really excited about giving students the chance to learn from a respected author like Mr. Sparks. ”

Sparks is to appear at three events in Rogers on Oct. 10-11 — a seminar for high school creative writing students, a private reception at the Rogers Public Library and a ticketed event at the Embassy Suites.

The author series hosted Homer Hickam in the fall of 2007, which kicked off the annual event.
