Fishing report
Northwest & North-Central Arkansas BEAVER Southtown Sporting Goods said the lake remains about 5 feet above normal level with surface temperatures around 80 degrees. The level was rising slightly at midday Wednesday. Bream are good on crickets. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs fished 8-12 feet deep. Bass are fair early and late on topwaters and are good in midday on deep-diving crank baits. Catfish are fair on cut bait. - Thursday, September 4, 2008
